About the opportunity
For our Corporate Finance Team, we are looking for a motivated Finance Manager (m/f/d) to join our team based in Hamburg to start as soon as possible. This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious, fast growing and entrepreneurial investment platform backed by an experienced team.
As a member of our finance team, you will be responsible our day-to-day finance processes. You will report to the Head of Finance and will closely work with other members of the team as well as our accounting, payroll and tax service providers in Germany, but also in the USA and Israel.
In this role, you will:
- Manage day-to-day finance processes for our investment management company and its international subsidiaries, including payments & invoicing, preparation of accounting data and employee expense reporting
- Be the primary contact person for our external service providers
- Be responsible for the Management of liquidity, administration of cashflows and execution of payments for our fund entities
- Be responsible for Fund administration (incl. drawdowns, distributions, capital accounts)
- Participate in forecasting and budgeting processes
- Prepare of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts in accordance with German GAAP and IFRS, the annual audit process and tax filings as well as the external reporting of our fund entities
- Prepare and coordinate financial and regulatory reportings
- Maintain high quality record keeping and archives for the various legal entities of the DTCP group of companies
- Be responsible for ad-hoc assignments and analyses related to our financial operations, controlling and internal/ external reporting
- Contribute to various initiatives to further automate and digitize Finance-internal and firm-wide processes
What you need to be successful:
- You bring at least 3-5 years experience in finance administration, preferably at a finance-oriented firms, such as a private equity or venture capital fund, asset manager or at an international holding company
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field of study or qualification as a tax specialist or international accountant
- Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel, experience with SAP beneficial. An interest in new technologies helping to further automate the finance function would be highly appreciated
- Knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a high attention to detail
- High level of assertiveness and good communication skills
- Fluent German and English, both spoken & written
