Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners is an investment management group with c. $1.7 billion assets under management and advisory from Deutsche Telekom and other institutional investors, and a portfolio of over 60 companies. The group is dedicated to providing venture and growth capital, private equity investments, and advisory services to the technology, media and telecommunication sectors. We are looking for an Intern – Private Equity (m/f/d), for a timeframe of at least 2.5 months, to support our team of investment professionals in the analysis of investment opportunities.


As an intern in our central office in Hamburg, you will support investment professionals in the following tasks:

  • Screening and summarization of investment opportunities
  • Research and analysis
  • Financial modelling and data analysis in Excel
  • Presentation of the results of research and analysis in memorandums
  • Financial forecasting & operational analysis of Deutsche Telekom’s subsidiaries as part of our advisory activities for Deutsche Telekom
  • Further support in the investment process


    You are in the last year of your studies with outstanding results (1st quartile) and have solid business and financial analysis skills. You are interested in the private equity branch and have experience in analyzing business models and financial statements. Furthermore, you have following skills and experiences

    • High degree of personal and professional maturity
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
    • Interest in financial markets and technology industry sectors and trends
    • Experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking or Transaction Services
    • Intermediate German is a plus
